Dan is the Manager of Rates, Technology, and Energy Policy at La Plata Electric Association (LPEA) headquartered in Durango, Colorado.  His responsibilities include rate design, load forecasting, and negotiating Purchased Power Agreements.  Dan also manages LPEA’s energy management, emerging technologies, and information technology workgroups.
Prior to his management role, Dan was the System Engineer at LPEA for nearly 20 years where he was primarily involved in distribution system planning, rate development, system integration, data analysis, and AMI implementation/administration.
Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Colorado. 
When Dan needs a break from the office, he prefers to enjoy the outdoors while mountain biking, hiking, or river rafting.
